Join Us for the Winter Holidays
Marshal’s Office – run cultural institutions, not only for the youngest residents of the region, have prepared a wide range of interesting activities for the winter holidays, which in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region will begin as early as Monday (2 February). The programme includes workshops, meetings and lectures.
“We invite you to our libraries, museums and cultural centres to spend the next two weeks in a creative and inspiring way. I am convinced that you won’t be bored during these holidays,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
A rich winter holiday programme has been prepared by the Copernicus Library in Toruń and its branches. The offer includes art classes, games and activities, meetings with literature, experiments and virtual journeys around the world. Details are available on the library’s website.
In Bydgoszcz, Eco-Holidays at Bełza’s Library will take place – a series of free recycling workshops that creatively combine environmental education, art and play. Artistic holiday activities will also be held in branch libraries across the city. The schedule is available on the Bydgoszcz library’s website.
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Cultural Centre in Bydgoszcz invites participants to a series of ceramic workshops. During one-hour sessions, everyone will be able to create vessels and objects from clay. The programme is available on the KPCK website.
Art and multimedia workshops organised by the Gallery and Centre for Children’s Artistic Creation in Toruń will take place at the main venue (17 Nowomiejski Market Square) and at its branch (Culture Mill, 75-77 Kościuszki Street). Registration is required – phone: +48 737 336 030.
The Ethnographic Museum in Toruń has also prepared an interesting programme, including intergenerational workshops, an organic food fair and joint singing of folk songs. Details are available on the museum’s website.
Creative family workshops, during which participants will design the museum’s premises, will also be held at the Kujawy and Dobrzyń Land Museum in Włocławek. Information about the event can be found on the museum’s website.
Concerts are offered by the Lubostroń Palace and the Chopin Centre in Szafarnia, while the Horzyca Theatre has prepared a Valentine’s Day tour for lovers of the Toruń stage.
