Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 is an event dedicated to smart cities and urban innovation. Last year, the event attracted 25,000 participants from 850 cities and 135 countries. Over 1,100 exhibitors and more than 600 lectures have been registered for this year’s edition. It is a place for those who want to actively shape the future of cities and an excellent opportunity to:

  • establish international contacts
  • learn about the latest technologies
  • exchange experiences and inspiration.

Many companies in Kujawsko-Pomorskie have the potential to operate globally – we want to help them do so. The Export Fund is concrete support that can open the door to international success,’ says Piotr Całbecki.

The Toruń Regional Development Agency is implementing the Marshal’s Export Fund for Kujawy and Pomerania project, offering concrete support to companies from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship that want to develop their business on foreign markets.

This year’s fair is intended for leaders in the following industries:

  • new technologies (AI, IoT, big data, blockchain)
  • transport and mobility (electromobility, micromobility, public transport)
  • energy and environment (renewable sources, energy efficiency)
  • infrastructure and construction (smart buildings, resilient infrastructure).

We invite micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship which:

  • operate in areas related to the theme of the fair
  • have an Action Plan for Exporters developed as part of the Export Fund for Kujawsko-Pomorskie project
  • conduct business activity in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship
  • offer a product/service with export potential.

As part of the fair, the organiser provides group flights to and from Barcelona (including transport to/from the airport in Poland), local transfers (hotel – fair – hotel), accommodation and admission tickets to the fair and accompanying events.

The deadline for applications is 30 September. It is possible to obtain funding of up to 70% of the net cost of participation.
