The jury of the Main Competition of the 33^rd International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage, chaired this year by New Zealand director and screenwriter Niki Caro, awarded the Golden Frog to Judith Kaufmann – cinematographer of the film Late Shift directed by Petra Biondina Volpe. The festival’s closing ceremony, held on Saturday (22 November), was attended by Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Awards in the competition also went to:

• Fabian Gamper – Silver Frog for his cinematography in Mascha Schilinski’s film Staring at the Sun,
• Michał Sobociński – Bronze Frog for his cinematography in Michał Kwieciński’s film Chopin, Chopin.

For the second year in a row, the Golden Frog in the Polish Films Competition was awarded to Piotr Sobociński Jr. for his cinematography in Acolytes directed by Piotr Domalewski (last year the cinematographer received the award for his work on Kos).

Special awards were presented to:

• Kristen Stewart for the film The Chronology of Water,
• Tomasz Naumiuk for his cinematography in Agnieszka Holland’s Franz Kafka.

At the thirty-third edition of the Camerimage Festival, awards were also given for cinematographic and directorial debuts, as well as in the documentary film, TV series, and music video competitions. The list of winners is available on the festival’s website.
