Funds from PFRON for investments
We invite applications for co-financing of construction works in facilities dedicated to the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. The Marshal’s Office acts as an intermediary in the allocation of funds from the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON). Applications can be submitted until the end of November.
Funding may be requested by entities that have been engaged in rehabilitation activities for persons with disabilities for at least two years and hold a valid building permit or notification as required under construction law. Support may cover investments in facilities such as nursing homes, rehabilitation and medical centers, inclusive schools, sanatoriums, cultural centers, care and nursing institutions, centers for social and vocational integration, universities, and day-care centers. The funding may be used for construction, reconstruction, or renovation of buildings. Eligible expenses include, among others, the installation of elevators, ramps, and platforms; renovation of hygienic and sanitary facilities with the installation of seats and handrails; thermal modernization of buildings and facade renewal; as well as adaptation works to make facilities accessible to persons with disabilities.

This year, the regional government has allocated PLN 6.3 million from PFRON funds to support eleven such projects.
