In Cyprianka (Włocławek County), the 26th edition of the county exhibition “Easter Tables in Kujawy” took place, organized by the Włocławek County Starost, Roman Gołębiewski. The ceremony was attended by Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska, Member of the Regional Executive Board Marek Wojtkowski, and Regional Councilor Sławomir Kopyść. This exceptional event has long been a staple in the calendar of the region’s most important cultural gatherings. It is not only an opportunity to showcase the richness of Kujawy’s Easter traditions but, above all, a testament to the dedication and passion of the county’s residents.

This year’s exhibition was a true feast for the senses. As many as 22 rural women’s circles prepared beautifully and carefully decorated Easter tables, featuring traditional dishes, handicrafts, and symbols of the Resurrection.

“I would like to sincerely thank all the ladies and gentlemen from the rural women’s circles for their effort, creativity, and care for our cultural heritage. It is thanks to you that these traditions not only endure but also grow and inspire future generations,” said Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska.

The tables featured traditional dishes such as żurek (sour rye soup), white sausage, mazurki, and Easter cakes, as well as handmade decorations and holiday symbols. Each presentation was unique, reflecting local customs and the culinary heritage of the region.

The exhibition was not only a chance to admire the participants’ craftsmanship and creativity but also a space for meetings, conversations, and sharing the atmosphere of the upcoming Easter holiday.

The ceremony was enhanced by a concert from the band Pectus.
