EFKP: contracts worth 55 million, investments worth 62 million

Beneficiaries of our regional programme European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie (EFKP) today received agreements for project co-financing – including in the areas of social policy, waste management, water management and health protection – for a total of nearly PLN 55 million. The programme has just passed the halfway point, which means that almost PLN 4 billion has been committed to 664 projects. Photos to download

“Good luck with the implementation!” wished Marshal Piotr Całbecki to the participants of today’s (4 July) ceremony at the Marshal’s Office.

The largest of today’s grants goes to the municipality of Janikowo in the Inowrocław County, which is developing a local selective waste collection system at a cost of PLN 11 million. The contract for the municipality of Fabianki in the Włocławek district, which is modernising the water treatment plant in Szpetal Górny, is worth PLN 9 million. PLN 7 million is support for the regional Water Volunteer Rescue Service, which is purchasing specialist equipment with a view to future operations. The total value of the agreements signed today in the field of social policy is PLN 11.5 million, resulting in the creation of three new day care centres for seniors (in Lipno, the municipality of Lubień Kujawski in the Włocławek district and in Solec Kujawski in the Bydgoszcz district) and the creation of a network of youth clubs in Grudziądz.

Today’s ceremony at the Marshal’s Office was also attended by the president of the regional parliament, Elżbieta Piniewska, the vice-marshal of the region, Aneta Jędrzejewska, member of the regional board, Dariusz Kurzawa, and member of the regional board, Marek Wojtkowski.
