Easter Gifts for the Peers of Independence
Packages prepared by the Marshal’s Office for the oldest residents of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region were delivered before the holidays to people aged 100 and above.
– “Easter is the most important and symbolic holiday in the Christian tradition, deeply rooted in the history and culture of our region. The message of Christ’s Resurrection has shaped the spiritual dimension of this holiday for centuries, reminding us of the triumph of life over death, the power of goodness, and the need for solidarity and mutual kindness. May Easter be a symbol of renewal, family warmth, and mutual goodwill. Happy Alleluia!” – said Marshal Piotr Całbecki and President of the Regional Parliament Elżbieta Piniewska.
The Marshal honors the oldest residents throughout the year. People awarded the Unitas Durat medal can count not only on official recognition during jubilees and participation in key regional events but also on holiday gestures of care and kindness. This year, Easter packages were delivered from Friday, March 20, to the Peers of Independence across the region. The packages included items such as pillows, thermal mugs, sweets, products from the Ciechocinek Spa, NESTLÉ products, and cards with holiday greetings.
The gifts were delivered to seniors by representatives of the Regional Parliament and Members of the Regional Executive Board.
Families of residents turning 100 in 2026, as well as older residents not yet honored with the medal, can submit their relatives by phone at 56 62 18 344 or by email: stulatkowie@kujawsko-pomorskie.pl
