Current LAG Calls for Proposals: Business Development, Adult Education, Social Inclusion

There are 27 Local Action Groups (LAGs) operating in our region – partnerships formed by residents, non-governmental organizations, and local governments. They implement initiatives aimed at activating local communities with the support of European funds provided through the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) instrument. LAGs announce funding opportunities on their websites, where applicants can obtain support for projects important to local communities. We encourage everyone to explore the current calls for proposals.

“Together with Local Action Groups and the institutions and organizations operating within their structures, we can effectively respond to the real needs and challenges faced by residents. This is possible because we have entrusted local communities with both the funding and the tools needed to make use of it. In doing so, we have created a civic budget on a regional scale,” explains Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Currently, the Chełmno Local Action Group Association has announced two calls for applications. These offer grants to support extracurricular education for children and young people, as well as projects focused on the social integration of senior citizens. Funding for these initiatives comes from the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021-2027 programme (list).

New Calls for Applications in LAGs:

  • 2 calls announced by the Chełmno Local Action Group Association,
  • Nearly PLN 280,000 for non-formal education of children and young people,
  • More than PLN 336,000 for the activation and social inclusion of seniors.

Local Action Groups are organizations established by residents, non-governmental organizations, and local governments. Their mission is to implement initiatives that engage and empower local communities. There are 27 such partnerships operating throughout the region (LAG map). They work in both urban and rural areas and make use of European Union funds administered by the Marshal’s Office, as well as resources allocated through the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) instrument. By placing funds and the means to use them directly in the hands of local communities, we are creating a civic budget on a regional scale. Kujawsko-Pomorskie is the only region in Poland implementing CLLD on such a large scale.
