Current LAG Calls for Proposals: Activities for Children and Young People, Access to Public Infrastructure
There are 27 Local Action Groups (LAGs) operating across our region. These partnerships, established by local residents, non-governmental organisations and local governments, implement initiatives that engage and empower local communities with the support of European funds provided through the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) instrument. LAGs publish calls for proposals on their websites, offering funding opportunities for projects that address the needs and priorities of local communities. We invite you to explore the current calls for applications.
“Together with Local Action Groups and the institutions and organisations operating within their structures, we can respond effectively to the real needs and challenges faced by local residents. This is possible because we have entrusted local communities with both the funding and the tools needed to make the best use of these resources. In doing so, we have created a participatory budget on a regional scale,” explains Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Three Local Action Groups have recently announced new calls for applications. The “Podgrodzie Toruńskie” Local Action Group Association is accepting applications for projects aimed at improving access to small-scale public infrastructure. At the same time, the association has cancelled its previous call for applications supporting entrepreneurship through the development of non-agricultural business activities.
Two Local Action Groups have also launched grant competitions supporting the education of children and young people outside the formal education system. These are the Dobrzyń Municipalities Local Action Group – Northern Region Association and the “Municipalities of Świecie County” Local Action Group.
Funding for these initiatives is provided under the European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie 2021-2027 programme and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
New LAG Calls for Applications:
- Two calls supporting educational activities for children and young people outside the formal education system, with a combined budget of more than PLN 2.4 million.
- More than PLN 2 million allocated to projects improving access to small-scale public infrastructure.
Local Action Groups are partnerships established by residents, non-governmental organisations and local governments to implement initiatives that strengthen and engage local communities. There are 27 such partnerships operating throughout the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region (see the LAG map). They work in both urban and rural areas, using European Union funds managed by the Marshal’s Office as well as funding provided through the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) instrument.
By entrusting local communities with financial resources and the tools needed to use them effectively, we are creating a participatory budget at the regional level. Kujawsko-Pomorskie is the only region in Poland implementing CLLD on such a large scale.
