Building homes with a mission? Tap into EU Funding
Training apartments, supported housing, units with services or care are not only alternative forms of living, but above all, they provide tangible assistance for individuals who require support in daily life. On 29 July, an information session will be held at the Marshal’s Office in Toruń for entities interested in obtaining EU funds to develop this type of infrastructure. Applications can be submitted until 25 July. More than PLN 27 million from the European Regional Development Fund is available under the current call for proposals.
“We are allocating multi-million amounts for projects aimed at helping the most vulnerable. As a result, new housing is being created in the region where people with disabilities, seniors, the homeless, and young adults leaving foster care or children’s homes receive daily support and prepare for independent living,” — said Marshal Piotr Całbecki
The training is addressed to local governments, NGOs, and other entities planning investments in social infrastructure related to supported housing.
During the session, participants will learn about funding opportunities for the construction, renovation, refurbishment, and furnishing of:
- Training apartments – helping residents learn how to live independently
- Supported housing – for individuals requiring moderate support
- Housing with services or care – offering daily assistance and care in everyday functioning
A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
