Awards for Winners of Goose-Themed Competitions (Lots of Photos)

On December 4, the winners and honorable mentions of competitions organized as part of the “Kujawsko-Pomorskie Goose Meat Festival for St. Martin’s Day” campaign gathered at the Marshal’s Office in Toruń for an awards ceremony. Participants of three contests were recognized: the “Cinematic Goose” art competition for children and youth, and a competition for the best accounts of Independence Day celebrations on November 11 involving goose meat dishes, submitted by families and rural women’s associations. Photos from the event are available for download.

“The aim of our goose-themed contests is to promote the tradition of celebrating November 11 with goose meat dishes, deeply tied to our nation’s rich history of independence. I thank you all for your effort and creativity. Goose is an inspiring theme, as seen in the wonderful entries. My heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and honorees,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki during the event.
