Award the best museum projects

The museum workers of our region organise numerous open events, conferences and educational workshops to promote the heritage of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. Appreciating their daily work and commitment, we will traditionally honour the best museum undertakings of the past year. We are waiting for submissions for the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Museum Event of the Year competition until 30 April.

With these awards, we would like to thank the employees of museum institutions for carrying out such projects, which show important fragments of our history in a unique and attractive way,’ says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Projects realised in 2024 can be submitted to the competition in three categories:

  • exhibition (temporary and permanent exhibitions, presented both in museum facilities and in public space);
  • scientific and publishing activities (publications, including e-books and audiobooks, as well as conferences and completed research projects);
  • education and regionalism (activities of an educational nature and activities promoting and popularising the heritage of the region).

Projects may be submitted by museums or other entities carrying out museum-related activities located in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship.

One award and two distinctions will be granted in each category. The winners will receive Musejon statuettes, designed and made by Sebastian Mikołajczak – an artist from Toruń, a scholarship holder of the Marshal of the voivodeship.

Applications should be delivered to the following address:
