The NATO – Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC), operating in Bydgoszcz and tasked with exchanging experience and supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in achieving full interoperability with NATO, is celebrating its anniversary. During the Tuesday (17 February) jubilee ceremony, the regional self-government was represented by Vice-Marshal of the Region Zbigniew Ostrowski.
“I am convinced that cooperation between soldiers of NATO member states and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will strengthen Europe’s defence capabilities. The activities of the NATO – Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre have a real impact on increasing the sense of security among the residents of our region as well,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
