The annual family festival entitled ‘Fairytale Encounters’ was held for the fourth time at Bierzgłowski Castle. The picnic was hosted by Marshal Piotr Całbecki and Bishop Arkadiusz Okroj of the Diocese of Toruń. It was great!

Thank you for spending time with us! The huge interest confirms how much we need joy and fun with our loved ones. “Fairytale Encounters” has become a permanent fixture in our calendar of events,’ said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

As usual, the programme of attractions was very rich. The Impresaryjny Theatre from Włocławek performed the play ‘Brzechwa dzieciom’ (Brzechwa for Children), and during a special concert, the artists performed favourite children’s hits. Fairy tale characters could be found at the castle, and thanks to the possibility of renting costumes, we could dress up as one of them. In addition to fairy-tale characters, there were ‘living sculptures,’ illusionists performed, and adults and children watched their favourite films in the summer outdoor cinema. There were also huge soap bubbles, gel tattoos, competitions and games.

The evening illuminations lighting up the castle walls added magic to the whole event, and during the night tour, many participants felt a thrill of excitement.
