The Association Serce Torunia, the Trisomiaki Foundation from Łochowo (Bydgoszcz County), and the Special Educational Centre of the Orionist Sisters in Włocławek are the main beneficiaries of the 14th Marshal’s Charity Ball, which will take place on 17 January 2026 at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre in Toruń. During the previous edition of the event, we raised a record 860,000 złoty.
“The annual ball is an exceptional event during which we open our hearts. Every złoty is priceless and equally important, but what matters most to us are the smiles and the improvement of the living conditions of the people we help,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The thirteenth edition of the ball was also remarkable due to the generosity of the participants, who bid 220,000 złoty for a painting by Julian Fałat, 120,000 złoty for a sculpture made of Murano glass from Venice, and 30,000 złoty for one of the surprise items (“a pig in a poke” that turned out to contain a stick of butter).
Works created by participants of the Marshal’s art competition are also auctioned. Last year, one of the pieces from the “Goose in Space” competition was sold for 20,000 złoty.
In addition to the three main beneficiaries, the funds raised during the event will also be allocated to beneficiaries of previous editions of the ball.
