Investor Service – Invest in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region
Foreign investors in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region are served by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Investors and Exporters Assistance Center (K-PCOIE), which is a regional partner of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). K-PCOIE operates in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region within the organizational structure of the Marshal’s Office in Toruń, Bureau for Economic and Investment Promotion.
The main tasks of K-PCOIE are:
FDI related activities:
- jointly with PAIH, servicing foreign investors interested in starting a business in the region or servicing them on behalf of PAIH,
- informing investors about applicable legal provisions and related procedures for starting a business in Poland and the investment advantages of the region,
- creating and updating a regional list of data on sub-suppliers according to economic sectors and a database of enterprises – exporters in the region,
- creation and ongoing updating of regional greenfield and brownfield investment offers (such as halls and buildings),
- preparation and management of trade and investment missions from and to the region,
- collecting statistical data about the region,
- preparing information that may influence the promotion of the region or the investment climate of the region,
- comprehensive service during the implementation of investment projects.
Pro-Export activities
As part of K-PCOIE export activities, it facilitates regional entrepreneurs’ access to comprehensive, free information services to the extent necessary to plan, organize, and implement sales and/or investments outside Poland, through, among others:
- providing internet information on markets and export support instruments as well as available sources of information on export-related topics,
- maintaining and updating databases of regional exporters,
- promotion of inquiries from foreign companies among regional exporters,
- promotion of information about economic missions, international fairs, or current tenders of international organizations among regional enterprises,
- informing companies about the possibility of free use of the stands of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department / Polish Investment and Trade Agency during selected fairs and exhibitions, organizing free seminars, conferences, and information meetings for entrepreneurs on various issues related to exports (including foreign markets, export regulations – domestic and target countries, opportunities to invest in foreign markets, entry barriers to specific markets, cultural barriers and others),
- periodic publication of the Catalog of export products “Made in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region”, sent in printed and electronic versions to PAIH and its offices abroad (PAIH Foreign Trade Offices), Polish embassies, third-country embassies in Poland, foreign and domestic BEIs. It is also available during fairs and exhibitions in which the region participates,
- organizing or co-organizing B2B conversations.
