Current EFKP calls for proposals (social economy, culture, e-health) and funding from Local Action Groups (LAGs) for businesses

In our regional programme European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze, we currently have eight ongoing calls for project funding and non-competitive calls, with a total allocation of PLN 160 million.

EU funds for investment continue to drive our economy and make it possible to implement important development initiatives. However, it is above all thanks to the commitment of beneficiaries—who actively reach for funding from our regional programme—that we are consistently modernising our region together by delivering projects that have a real impact on residents’ quality of life,” emphasises Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Funds available under the call supporting the social economy are intended for the broadly defined development of this sector. They can be used to create new entities, generate new jobs within existing organisations, or obtain consulting, advisory and training support. The budget amounts to nearly PLN 30 million. Applications can be submitted until 11 May, with results expected in September.

PLN 65 million is the budget for the non-competitive call focused on investments in cultural institutions. These funds are intended for the construction, expansion and equipment of facilities. Eligible beneficiaries include institutions run by the regional government. The application deadline is 23 March.

A non-competitive call will also be used to allocate funds for e-health solutions (over PLN 24 million). It is addressed to the regional government and its partners in the medical sector, including projects in telemedicine and telerehabilitation, as well as the modernisation of IT systems.

Two calls supporting emergency services provide a total of PLN 16 million. These funds will be used for the modernisation and construction of facilities for water rescue services and for training purposes of volunteer fire brigades. Application deadlines are 26 March and 30 June respectively.

The implementation of our regional programme EFKP 2021–2027 is progressing very efficiently. With over one thousand signed agreements and contracted funding amounting to PLN 5.118 billion (66% of the allocation), we are among the leading regions in Poland in terms of programme implementation. In 2026 alone, more than PLN 1 billion will be available for allocation under EFKP.

All announcements regarding calls for proposals and non-competitive calls are available on the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021–2027 portal.

Calls for project funding are also organised by Local Action Groups (LAGs) across the region (under the EU Common Agricultural Policy, LEADER / Community-Led Local Development). Particularly popular are grants for starting and developing businesses.

Under the Common Agricultural Policy 2023–2027, we have more than PLN 50 million available for individual wastewater treatment systems, PLN 9.5 million for the implementation of smart village concepts, and PLN 190 million for LEADER/CLLD interventions. The first calls for wastewater system grants are planned for the second quarter of 2026. As part of the LEADER intervention, 95 calls have already been announced, with a total budget of PLN 95 million.

Funds for rural development are also available under EFKP. In the near future, PLN 60 million from this pool will be allocated to investments in small-scale water retention.
