Current FEdKP Calls for Proposals: Half a Billion Zlotys at Stake
In our regional programme European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie (FEdKP), we currently have 12 ongoing competitive calls for project funding as well as non-competitive application rounds. Nearly half a billion zlotys is in play. These funds support, among other things, the development of health resorts, revitalisation of major cities, energy modernisation of buildings, and upgrades to district heating systems.
“Once again, I can say with satisfaction that the implementation of FEdKP is progressing according to plan. We are pleased both with the pace of contracting – currently close to 60 percent of our allocated funding – and with the quality of the projects and applications prepared by beneficiaries. I always emphasise that the success of the regional programme depends in half on them: their willingness to invest and their professionalism,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
We currently have 45 million zlotys available in a call dedicated to the development of our health resorts – Ciechocinek, Inowrocław, and Wieniec-Zdrój. Local government units and their companies, as well as non-governmental organisations, may apply for this funding to develop recreational infrastructure and publicly accessible spa infrastructure. In practical terms, this includes the construction and modernisation of graduation towers, pump rooms and spa pools, as well as the creation and revitalisation of parks, pedestrian paths, and cycling routes. Funding covers up to 85% of project costs. The call closes on 8 December.
For revitalisation projects in so-called “presidential cities” (Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Włocławek, Grudziądz, and Inowrocław), we are allocating 23 million zlotys in a call open until mid-December. These are funds for modernisation, renovation, and adaptive uses of buildings, development of green areas, restoration of historic sites, and the construction or modernisation of municipal infrastructure. Grants again cover up to 85% of eligible costs. In addition to local governments and state administration, social housing associations, housing cooperatives and communities, SMEs, churches and religious communities, cultural institutions, and social economy entities may apply.
Fifty-six million zlotys is the budget of the competitive call financing the construction and modernisation of district heating networks and the replacement of inefficient, air-polluting heat sources in public buildings and multi-family residential buildings with modern, environmentally friendly solutions. Besides local governments, this funding is available to enterprises, cooperatives, housing communities, and social housing associations. Applications are open until mid-January, with results expected in June 2026.
