Steel Angels – we will reward leaders in social assistance
Those most committed, reliable and creative in the field of social assistance will be honoured with awards from the regional government for the nineteenth time. We will award Steel Angels to individuals, teams and organisations. Applications are accepted until 30 September.
‘Working for the benefit of others is a mission that requires not only knowledge but also exceptional sensitivity. By awarding annual distinctions, we promote the most interesting and innovative initiatives and achievements, as well as the noble professional attitude of employees in this important segment of support,’ says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Through the competition, we promote the most interesting and valuable initiatives in the field of social assistance, innovative approaches and the reliability of employees and volunteers of social welfare institutions and programmes.
Candidates may be nominated by winners of previous editions of the competition and representatives of:
- government and local government authorities
- social welfare organisational units
- non-governmental organisations, churches and religious associations operating in the field of social welfare.
Applications for the award, in sealed envelopes, must be submitted by 30 September:
- in person (at the information and reception desk at the Marshal’s Office headquarters)
- or by post to the Office’s address (plac Teatralny 2, 87-100 Toruń) with the note ‘Stalowy Anioł’ (Steel Angel).
