With a Focus on New Sports Facilities

During today’s (February 26) meeting in Brześć Kujawski (Włocławek County), Vice-Marshal of the Region Aneta Jędrzejewska, Vice- Minister of Sport and Tourism Ireneusz Raś, and representatives of municipal and county governments from our region discussed funding opportunities for expanding local sports infrastructure through government programs. Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska and Vice-Minister Ireneusz Raś signed a cooperation agreement to support the development of sports infrastructure in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.

Funds, both from government and regional self-government programs, are primarily dedicated to areas where such facilities are simply lacking. We want the development of sports infrastructure to address the specific needs of local communities – said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Government programs provide funding for the construction of publicly accessible facilities such as sports fields, outdoor gyms, and activity zones. The government’s allocation for our region amounts to 10.5 million PLN.

A reminder that applications for funding the expansion of small-scale sports infrastructure under the regional support program can be submitted until February 28. This year, the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region has allocated over 2 million PLN for this purpose.

Application forms and attachments must be submitted by February 28 to punkt.informacyjny@kujawsko-pomorskie.pl.
