FEdKP (European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie): hospitals, transportation, community projects
78 agreements for the financing of projects for a total of PLN 314 million were received today at the Marshal’s Office by representatives of the beneficiaries of our regional program European Funds for Kujawsko-Pomorskie 2021-2027. The funds will flow, among others, for the construction of the Mental Health Center of the Bednarz Hospital. Bednarz Hospital in Swiecie, the continued expansion of the Specialized Hospital in Wloclawek, the purchase of zero-emission urban rolling stock for Toruń and Grudziądz, and projects in the field of education, aimed at students and teachers of 55 elementary and high schools in Toruń and Golub-Dobrzyń counties, among others.
– With 480 concluded contracts and contracting at 42 percent, we are the fifth voivodeship in the country in terms of advancement of spending of funds in the regional program. This is a credit not only to the regional government, but to you first of all, because you are implementing European projects brilliantly,” Vice-Marshal Zbigniew Ostrowski said to those attending.
In her speech, the president of the regional parliament, Elżbieta Piniewska, pointed to the social projects launched by today’s agreements, including educational projects, aimed at seniors, as well as equality projects, and their importance for local communities. – Together we are building civil society,” she concluded.
Today’s meeting with representatives of the beneficiaries was also attended by Vice-Marshal Aneta Jędrzejewska, regional government member Marek Wojtkowski, vice-chairman of the regional board Przemysław Sznajdrowski, and regional councilors Michał Czepek and Przemysław Ziemecki.
