Architectural accessibility
The Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region in Toruń has 12 locations:
1) The main office at Plac Teatralny 2, Toruń:
- Access to the building is provided by external stairs and a ramp.
- The main entrance is on the ground floor, without thresholds, with automatic double doors.
- A YourWay Beacon (a navigation marker for the visually impaired) is installed at the entrance.
- The building is equipped with three elevators, and staff, including trained personnel, assist people with disabilities.
- Hallways are at least 1.20 m wide.
- An information point is located in the main lobby, reachable by phone at 56 62-18-600 or via email at punkt.informacyjny@kujawsko-pomorskie.pl.
- The information point is equipped with an induction loop, a YourWay navigation marker, and an electronic magnifier.
- Accessible toilets are located on the ground floor and the first and second floors.
- Two reserved parking spaces are available in the internal parking lot.
- The building has fire alarm systems with visual signals.
- Installed elevators have auditory signals for door movements and Braille controls.
- Assistance dogs are allowed.
- The building has evacuation chairs, and free sign language interpreter services are available with at least three business days’ notice.
- For our clients, we provide free assistance with the help of a sign language interpreter or a guide-interpreter when dealing with matters at the office. - 2 parking spaces reserved for vehicles used by persons with disabilities, located in front of the building entrance.
- A restroom on the ground floor is adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities.
- Part of the building is equipped with a fire alarm system that includes visual hazard warnings.
- There is no elevator, which makes it difficult for wheelchair users to access the upper floors where customer service rooms are located. However, meetings can be arranged on the ground floor.
- Emergency routes and directions inside the building are marked with illuminated evacuation signs.
- The restroom for persons with disabilities is also equipped with a baby changing station.
- To ensure that individuals with special needs can be evacuated or rescued by other means, the building is equipped with an evacuation chair.
3) 13/15 Targowa Street in Toruń:
- 1 parking space reserved for vehicles used by persons with disabilities.
- Access to the building is via stairs, with no ramp or other solution that allows easy access for wheelchair users.
- After passing the entrance stairs, an elevator inside the building enables movement between the floors that house customer service rooms.
- There is no restroom adapted for persons with disabilities.
- No accommodations are available for individuals with hearing or visual impairments.
- No facilities are provided for caregivers with small children.
- To ensure evacuation or rescue for individuals with special needs, the building is equipped with an evacuation chair.
4) 167 Włocławska Street in Toruń:
- Parking spaces reserved for vehicles used by persons with disabilities.
- Customer service rooms are located on the ground floor.
- A restroom adapted for persons with disabilities is available.
- Corridors inside the building are at least 1.20 meters wide.

- 2 parking spaces reserved for cars used by persons with disabilities, located in front of the building entrance.
- Access to the building is via external stairs.
- No ramp or other solution providing easy access for wheelchair users.
- After ascending the stairs, an elevator inside allows movement between floors containing customer service areas.
- The elevator is equipped with audible signals indicating door opening and closing, a control panel with markings for visually impaired persons, voice announcements stating the current floor, and a display showing the floor number.
- No restroom adapted for persons with disabilities.
- No facilities for caregivers with small children.
- To ensure the evacuation or rescue of individuals with special needs, the building is equipped with an evacuation chair.
- Possibility of arranging a meeting with the client at another location.
7) 52 Szosa Bydgoska in Toruń:
- 2 parking spaces reserved for cars used by persons with disabilities.
- Customer service rooms are located on the first floor.
- Ground-level access to the building with an internal elevator providing access between floors for wheelchair users.
- No restroom adapted for persons with disabilities.
- No accommodations for individuals with hearing or visual impairments.
- No facilities for caregivers with small children.
- The building is equipped with an evacuation chair to ensure the evacuation or rescue of individuals with special needs.
8) 2 Bechiego Street in Włocławek:
- Access to the building is via external stairs and a ramp.
- 1 parking space reserved for cars used by persons with disabilities.
- Customer service rooms are located on the ground floor.
- Restroom adapted for persons with disabilities.
- Hallways inside the building are at least 1.20 meters wide.
- Evacuation routes and directions inside the building are marked with illuminated exit signs.
- The European Funds Information Point on the ground floor is equipped with an induction loop.
- The building includes amenities for caregivers with small children:
- A children’s corner is located next to the European Funds Information Point.
- A playground is located in front of the building.
- To ensure that individuals with special needs can be evacuated or rescued in another way, the building is equipped with an evacuation chair.
9) 4 Waryńskiego Street in Grudziądz:
- Access to the building is provided via external stairs, a ramp, and an elevator starting from the underground garage.
- 2 parking spaces are reserved for cars used by persons with disabilities.
- External and internal stairs are equipped with double-sided handrails, extended by 30 cm at the start and end of the stairs to ensure safe use.
- The elevator is equipped with a control panel with markings for visually impaired individuals and a display showing the current floor.
- Customer service rooms are located on the ground floor.
- A restroom adapted for persons with disabilities is available.
- Hallways inside the building are at least 1.20 meters wide.
- The building is equipped with a fire alarm system featuring visual warning signals.
- A baby changing table is located in the restroom for persons with disabilities.
- Evacuation routes and directions inside the building are marked with illuminated signs.
- To ensure the evacuation or rescue of individuals with special needs, the building is equipped with an evacuation chair.
10) 9 Jagiellońska Street in Bydgoszcz:

- Customer service rooms for the European Funds Information Point are located on the first floor.
- The elevator is equipped with a control panel with markings for visually impaired individuals and a display showing the current floor.
- A restroom adapted for persons with disabilities is located on the second floor.

- The European Funds Information Point is equipped with an induction loop.
